Villeroy & Boch CEO confirms at the Management Dialogue in Mettlach: company has come through uncertain times well so far
Even in the face of a challenging economic environment, Villeroy & Boch CEO Frank Göring believes the company is well prepared for the crisis. "The performance is right and we are coming through these uncertain times well," said Göring on the sidelines of a management dialogue with the company's senior executives.
He added that Villeroy & Boch has often weathered turbulent times in the almost 275 years of its existence. "We are well prepared, stably financed and robustly positioned," Göring emphasised at the internal event in Mettlach.
In this context, Göring thanked the teams, some of which had been working hard on the various issues since the beginning of the year. With regard to production, the course had been set early on. "Ability to deliver and proximity to customers are now decisive," Göring emphasised. The energy supply is secured, he said, and the company is well prepared for a possible gas shortage. "All this is thanks to you and your teams, and for that I say thank you very much."
Göring affirmed that the company would continue to do its utmost to get through the phase of economic uncertainty well. "You see me in a positive mood despite all the challenges. We have already presented good results at the half-year point and we will also be able to report positive business development for the third quarter," Göring emphasised.
Villeroy & Boch will publish its business figures for the third quarter on 21 October 2022.
