Villeroy & Boch AG expands the Management Board


  • Villeroy & Boch expands its Management Board as of January 1, 2023
  • Esther Jehle takes over the newly created Board function HR/Organizational Development and is appointed Chief HR Officer
  • Dr. Peter Domma takes over the newly created Management Board responsibility for Digitalization/IT

Villeroy & Boch intends to make even greater use of the dynamic changes in the world of work and digitization as an opportunity for sustainable, profitable growth. The Supervisory Board of Villeroy & Boch AG has therefore resolved to expand the Management Board. Esther Jehle and Dr. Peter Domma, two senior leaders from the company's own ranks, have been appointed to the Management Board as of January 1, 2023. They will represent two newly created functions of great importance for the future success of the company.

Esther Jehle will be responsible for the new HR/Organizational Development function on the Management Board as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). She will continue in her previous role as Global Head of HR.

At the same time, Dr. Peter Domma will be appointed to the Management Board as Chief Digital Officer (CDO). He is responsible for the newly created Digitalization/IT function. The new function will combine the Digital Unit, currently headed by Peter Domma, and Corporate IT under one roof.

SHORT BIOGRAPHIES

Esther Jehle (44) has been Global Head of HR at Villeroy & Boch since March 2020. She previously held senior HR positions at pharmaceutical group Johnson & Johnson and professional beauty company Wella. She started her career in HR management at the fast moving consumer goods company Procter & Gamble. She is a trained bank clerk and graduated in business administration from the universities of Nuremberg and Prague.

Dr. Peter Domma (42) joined Villeroy & Boch in 2016 as Head of the then Online Unit. Most recently, he played a key role in driving digitization forward across the board alongside traditional IT, as well as in the area of e-commerce. He began his career at the insurer CosmosDirekt in Generali Deutschland AG, where he was most recently responsible for online marketing. Domma holds a degree in business administration and completed his studies in business administration as well as his doctorate at Saarland University.
