A design inspired by the moon – NewMoon: Perfect haptics meet extraordinary form

Rich in facets, mystical, brilliant - the moon has fascinated humans for thousands of years. Inspired by this impressive radiance, Villeroy & Boch designed NewMoon. The clearly pure and simultaneously eye-catching design is defined through an asymmetrical crescent moon shape. Clear lines create a crescent moon against shiny, glazed premium porcelain that gives every dinner an exclusive style with its expressiveness.

The tableware series NewMoon includes all pieces needed for the table to suit gourmets with high expectations: There are six different plates, coffee cups, espresso cups and mugs, with or without handles and matching saucers. In addition, there are six bowls, from small dip bowls to large salad bowls, all of which can be used for various purposes. The dip bowls can be perfectly combined with the new rectangular serving plate from Manufacture Rock and are therefore available individually or as a set with the serving plate. A large, round serving plate that impressively sets the scene for dish completes the assortment. Made of high-quality premium porcelain, made in Germany, NewMoon is dishwasher safe and suitable for microwaving.

In addition, there is a cutlery set of high-quality stainless steel that has a surprisingly innovative and ergonomic shape. The triangular shape of the back side means the pieces lie perfectly in your hand and are suitable for right and left-handers. In addition to soup spoons, coffee spoons, dinner knives and forks, there are also cake servers, espresso spoons, serving spoons and salad servers. An unconventional drinking glass series of clear crystal, including stemmed ware for white or red wine, champagne flutes and a variety of high tumblers, all of which have a noticeably beveled rim, completes the exquisite table setting – restaurant-feeling guaranteed, trend-setter potential and wow-effect included.
