As part of the site development project Mettlach 2.0, the Villeroy & Boch Group will be opening a new Villeroy & Boch outlet on 2 November 2024, right on the company’s historic premises in Mettlach. This project is an integral part of the extensive modernisation measures at the site. With a sales area of 900 square metres, the new outlet will offer a diverse shopping experience.

Creating a counterpart to an increasingly digital world: this was Christian Haas’ vision when, together with Villeroy & Boch, he set to work designing a new crockery collection. The task was to create a composition of tactile elements and elegant shapes conveying both warmth and sensuality.
The sun shining on your face, sand under your feet, the sound of the sea in your ears, the smell of salt air in your nose: When we spend the summer by the sea, where the summer heat is cooled by the onshore breezes, we feel happy and free. We want to take this carefree feeling with us into our everyday lives and enjoy it all year round.
The home is a place of self-expression: this is where we show who we are, and we design our living space to reflect our own personal style. The increasing focus on unusual furniture, lifestyle and decoration objects is, therefore, no surprise.
