Soothing earth tones for the kitchen: ceramic sinks in the new Almond shade
Colour defines the atmosphere of a room – and a modern kitchen is no exception. Whether you opt for a harmonious coordinated look or a striking contrast comes down to your own personal taste and style. And to allow you to apply your chosen colour concept even to the kitchen sink, Villeroy & Boch's premium ceramic sinks are available in a whole spectrum of shades in addition to classic white. From understated tones to vibrant hues, the selection of colours is continuously updated to reflect changing interior design trends around the world. For 2019, the designer Gesa Hansen has developed the soft shade of Almond, conjuring up visions of aromatic almonds and rounding off the spectrum of warm shades with a delicate natural look.
The new ceramic shade of Almond coordinates ideally with the “warm minimalism” trend, which replaces pure white with earthy cream tones. Almond is characterised by its delicate lightness, while avoiding any pastel effect. This ivory beige shade emphasises, in a naturally understated way, the pure finishes of furniture panels and work surfaces, coordinating ideally with natural materials and a slightly used look.
Gentle nuances, strong colours and delicate decors
In addition to a selection of warm cream and beige shades for modern, homely kitchen design, Villeroy & Boch also offers a series of graduated grey tones. Not forgetting four expressive shades inspired by the changing seasons, developed by Gesa Hansen exclusively for the ceramic sinks in the Timeline series and the Subway single basin: Emerald, Sunrise, Coral and Midnight will create a colourful highlight in any kitchen. Exclusive decors featuring delicate ornamental effects or geometric patterns on pure white ceramic are also available for selected sink models.
In total, Villeroy & Boch offers 17 different ceramic shades and three decors to provide the perfect colour scheme or decorative effect for every interior design preference and every requirement in the kitchen.
