Elegant relief décor with an exquisite feel – Château Septfontaines combines heritage and modernity

In the new Signature collection Château Septfontaines Villeroy & Boch combines design aspects from its own history with high-end materials and the latest production techniques to create exquisite tableware of the finest calibre. The collection is named after the residence of the same name, which the Boch brothers had erected at the end of the 18th century next to their ceramics factory in Luxembourg. The inspiration for the series was found in the company archives there: classic style elements have been adapted with great delicacy and love of detail and carried over to a modern, contemporary aesthetic in the art déco style.

This has resulted in the creation of an impressive collection, which glistens with an exciting interplay of matte and glossy surfaces: a new decor in relief look, the technique for which was designed by Villeroy & Boch itself, stands out from gently shimmering premium bone porcelain with matte surfaces and lends the fine, round shape of the crockery a unique and exquisite charm that fascinates both in looks and feel. A fine 20-carat gold rim, which is specially protected and dishwasher-safe thanks to the innovative “Inglaze Gold” technology, further emphasises the high value of the collection. The subtle interplay of matt and gloss gives the collection a strong emotionality that makes any table setting appear graceful and elegant – perfect for lovers of classic fine dining at the highest level.
